At 6 weeks when the heart first starts beating it is usually lower. Then in a couple weeks it will probably be a little higher than the 120-160 they say is normal. I had a subchorionic hematoma with my first and at an ultrasound at 6 weeks her heartrate was only 93 bpm then at 10 weeks it was 172 bpm.
Normal heart rate for adults is between 60 and 90 so yes 90 is low def monitor that I'm not sure that it will go up by next week maybe the heartbeat isn't strong because the heart isn't developed enough yet or something. Good luck.
I have the blood clot too, its called a subchorionic hematoma/hemmorhage. Mine was diagnosed at 7 weeks. And at my last ultrasound (12w5d) it was finally getting smaller. They are actually pretty common and usually go away on their own with no impact to the baby. As for the heartbeat, you're still very early. A lot of woman don't even find a heartbeat at this stage. It could just be starting out and it doesn't go from 0-150 instantly. I think a repeat ultrasound in a week or so will show a stronger heartbeat
thnks:) ive been staying calm just the thought of it scares me :( Do you know what causes it & is there anything that helps it go away ? Also what type of symptoms did you have from it ? My stomach will cramp & burn
I'm not sure about the heart beat but the clot isn't abnormal. I got mine around 6w. I'm now almost 10 and its going away. I would def talk to the Dr about the heart beat. It does seam really low. I also had a clot with my second child. He is now a healthy 1 1/2 year old. Just try to stay calm.
