7 weeks pregnant, confirmed, but bleeding

Recently found out I was pregnant.  Saturday woke up to light bleeding that lasted about 3 hours with menstrual like cramps.

I went in Monday to my doctor's office and had a pregnancy conformation. I mentioned that I had bleeding but it had stopped. I still was having cramps but was told some women have cramps and bleeding during their pregnancy.

Yesterday I continued to have brownish blood. I have no matter coming out just light blood still coming. I'm confirmed at 7 weeks. I'm so worried. Is this a miscarriage?

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that it is common to have bleeding early in pregnancy.  It does put you at higher risk for problems later on in the pregnancy.  If the blood has become darker and brownish, that is a good sign, because that is old blood that is draining.  If the cramping picks up or the blood becomes bright red, you should contact your doctor's office ASAP.
Good luck!

Im 5 weeks and 6 days, just this evening I started spotting. Ive had back ache and menstrual type pains. I also have a 5 year old son and it happened with him, we went to the hospital for a scan and I was told it was normal. This pregnancy is so much different from my previous and it scared me to death to see blood but I suppose you have to rely on the professionals and stay strong. Believe me ive lost two very important people to cancer within the last few weeks its very hard not to stress when ur grieving but I have to try and stay grounded for my son and this baby. Youve done the right thing going to the docs. Im goin to contact my midwife tomorrow for piece of mind

I am only 4w2d, found out with a blood test that I was pregnant at 3 weeks.  My period is due in two days so I can't even do the urine test, although I already know I'm pregnant I so badly want to see those two pregnancy lines or plus sign.  Soon enough.  Anyways, just today I noticed a small amount of very light pinkish brown discharge, so light I don't have to wear anything but I'm still very nervous.  I know I'm 4 weeks so the embryo is implanting right now so I'm praying it's implantation bleeding and not a chemical pregnancy.  I hope it's gone soon.  Any bleeding scares me to death.  I want this baby so bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Is this normal?????

I was told I had a threatened miscarriage because I was bleeding and cramping.
Bleeding and cramping have both stopped. Is it okay to be intimate again?

Hi! I am 8 weeks and I have been bleeding since week 5. I have had sonos every week and the baby is growing! I even heard the heartbeat. Not to be gross, but i even had a few small clots and the blood will be brown one day, pinkish red the next. Doctor told me the clots and occasional tissue I am passing is NOT embryonic and many woman bleed in the first trimester. So do not stress and my advice: do not google!!! People tend to talk about negative things and it is scary for first time pregnant women. Might i add i have NO pregnancy symptoms! I love when people say that and then follow the comment with "except for boob tenderness and nausea". Those exceptions are symptoms! Lol. I have nothing. No morning sickness, no tenderness, mo fatigue, nada! Doc told me to stop complaining and start being thankful. Honestly, no two pregnancies are alike and everyone is different. Unfortunately, the first trimester is a waiting game so try to enjoy it! What is meant to be will be. Best of luck!

Try not to stress about it too much.... it'll just make things worse for you.  I had the same thing around 6-7 weeks and it only lasted a couple days and stopped. Everything is fine and I'm 14 weeks now.  Don't worry and just take it one day at a time.  Good luck x

I had bleeding too at 5w6d, had an u/s, sac was inside and embryonic cardiac activity seen.  I'm at high risk due to my immune status.  I noticed that my beta doubling time suddenly dropped from 30-40hrs to 300+hrs during the past week after the bleeding episodes.  I still have ongoing cramps and back pain.  I emailed my OB's office and was told to go back tomorrow for another scan to measure fetal growth.  My doctor said a number of things could have caused my bleeding - low-lying placenta implantation site, subchorionic hematoma, low progesterone, ... First trimester *****, but I've decided to leave the worries to my doctors as they're paid for it, and I'll just try to enjoy my pregnancy as much as I can for as long as possible.  Good luck to you!

Hi cramps are normal. the bleeding could just be implantation bleeding. I wouldn't worry to much unless cramps are very painful and bleeding is heavy.easier said than done I know. if the Dr. didn't  seem worried  that's  a good thing. try to relax take good care of your self . good luck
