Progesterone/pregnancy and breastfeeding

OK, so I am wondering if I am pregnant again. I have had two periods and not due for another one yet. I have no clue if I am even Oing yet, my little one is 4 1/2 months old and is exclusivly BF.

If some of you remember is my 5th and first full term baby due to being put on pregesterone pills then shots throughout my whole pregnancy.

So here is my question, I feel "pregnant" and my cervix feels like it as well...

Has anyone ever taken progesterone in any form while BF? Does anyone even know or heard of anyone taking it while BF? I know the dr will tell me to take it and I have heard it is OK to take while BF but I ahve read things online that say you should not, and my little one is a boy so I would not want him to get bad female hormones, but on the other hand my body would be producing it any ways being pregnant and I have nursed 3 of my kids and been pregnant and even two at once when I was pregnant.

Any help?

ummm all perscription ones are not natural only the one from the health food store and ther is no way to regulate the dosage wiht that. Yeah I have to talk to him but I think my RE will say to stop BF and my OB will say it is fine and the pediatrician will say no to stop BF, so I will get a mixed answer:( I will have to go to my natural dr to see waht he says and can do.

I believe as long as you are taking natural progesterone and not synthetic...you are fine. It isn't supposed to effect breast feeding infants. Some low dose birth controls like the mini-pill have progesterone in them and they are considered safe during pregnancy. OF COURSE, you should talk to your doctor to verify.
