That is a brilliant size. My first was born at 34 at 2lb 13oz he's 14 now and perfect and my third was born at 35 week's at 3lb 15oz, spent 5 weeks in special care but is 2 and she's amazing. Pregnant for a 4th time worried about another small baby would be delighted if this one was 5lb. Try and relax great things come in small packages

That's a good size.
My son was born at 35weeks exact and weighed 4lbs 7oz.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would advise you that that weight at your stage is fine.  I would advise you that your baby will be a fine size in 8 more weeks--it should be about 7 1/2 lbs.  I think you also don't want a baby much bigger than that!  I would suggest eating healthy foods, avoiding smoking and second hand smoke.  Don't use any drugs except those your doctor has prescribed.  Take your vitamins.  Exercise in moderation and get plenty of sleep.  You and baby will be FINE!
Good luck!

No that's good. My son was born at 37 weeks. And weighed 5 lbs even. And perfect!

Usually in the last weeks of pregnancy is when babies gain most of their weight -  even a pound a week. Even if you deliver at 36 wks that's still possibly two more pounds for your baby which is a really normal weight. If you go all the way to 40 that's six more weeks of possible weight gain. Is there a reason you think your baby won't gain any more weight?
