It can be so frustrating and overwhelming so dont feel like you are a bad mom for feeling those ways. I cant tell you how many times I jut sat my daughter down when I felt that way (somewhere safe where they cant roll out and fall I.e. crib, pack and play, bassinet) and jut walked outside and closed the door behind me and got a little fresh air for a minute and went back.
It took me a few nights to get into a routine of what worked. As much as they are screaming and cryi to get fed in the middle of the night change their diaper first if needed. For the first few nights I fed my daughter first and it was a mistake because I would need to wake her back up to change her.
You can't cuddle to much. Believe me you'll regret it if your baby stays in the swing or bouncer all day. I had a rough recovery from s bad tear and a surgery when my daughter was seven weeks old. I didn't feel like holding my baby a lot of the time. Now that she's a feisty toddler, I wish I had cuddled get more. Iwill definitely not make the same mistake with this baby no matter how rough I think things are.
I used this diaper rash cream called "butt paste" its only $1 and I stocked up for this baby lol but it works wonders.. And if you can't figure out why your baby is crying don't panic try skin to skin it calms them down because they hear your hear beat..
