If you were my patient, the first thing I would do is a pregnancy test. It is possible to have bleeding even if you are pregnant. I ALWAYS recommend doing a pregnancy test when the bleeding is not normal.
IF the test is positive, you need to see your doctor immediately for an appointment.
IF the test is negative, you should decide what, if anything you want to do for birth control. You should probably think about something long term, such as the pill or IUD or shot or implant. DONT forget though that you can take Plan B or NEXT CHOICE as emergency contraception.
