I wanna do something really cute and clever to reveal the gender of the baby (once I find out) and I was wondering how you ladies went about revealing.

I did a paint war with my boyfriend. we didnt know the color until we sprayed each other with it and it was pink! having a baby girl on jan 10t(:

Im doing a gender reveal party on the 4th of october. Were going yo be filling a big black  balloon with blue or pink confetti and glitter and at the same time we pop it have the guests and family squirt us with squirt guns with colored paint of the gender :)

I took two pictures, one with my hands on my stomach, and then the second picture I lifted them off and had pink handprints on my tummy. :) kinda cool if you're wanted to post it online or print them off. I put them in a collage next to eachother on an app. Turned out cute!

(If you're posting a picture on Facebook) I got a white shirt and took a picture of my boyfriends hands in a heart shape on my belly and wrote "it's a...." then put pink paint on his hands had him make the heart shape then take his hands off and put them palm up (like he was showing the paint on his hands) and I held the ultrasound and took another one(:

I live away from my family so I decided to buy colored index cards and based on the gender (pink for girl, green for boy (I couldn't find blue) and when I found out I wrote the name of the baby on the card and mailed them to family. So when we found out it was a girl I wrote her name on the pink card and mailed it and my sister called me screaming and crying and laughing all at once "its pink!" It was really cute. Everyone else did the same and they got to keep them if they wanted.

I called the bakery a few days before and told them my plan so it was all ready the same day. We had them make cupcakes and than had the nurse call and tell them to put pink in only ONE. So it was a surprise for all of us and only one lucky person got it. It made it easier to have them done faster.

Check pintrest.com they have lots of great ideas for stuff like that! We did a box with balloons and let our daughter open it in front of the photographer :) my mom and sister were also there to find out, the rest found out when we posted our gender reveal pics to facebook

Someone on here posted how they got like black balloons I think and filled them with the color confetti of your baby gender blue for boy or pink for girl so they filled the balloons with the confetti and blew them up and had everyone stand around and then on the count of three pop the balloons and the pink confetti come out everywhere :)

My mom's coworker did something similar a few months ago! But I wouldn't be able to wait any more days. The day I find out I wanna find out! Lol but thanks for your story and thank so much!

Hey girl, first off, Congrats on your pregnancy. And for me and my husband, we did a Gender Reveal cake. We didn't know the sex, had the doc put the sex in an envelope and we took it straight to the bakery! Then we told the baker for the color of the cake to be blue for boy and pink for girl and the outside icing just plain white. So we brought it home to share with our friends/family and we sliced the cake and boom! it was Baby Blue!! hehehe. :)
