Antibiotics and birth control Pills

I was on antibiotics for 20 days while on the pill but i was having unprotected sex and got my period that month a week later i decided to take two test they both were negative but i thought maybe it was too early so i continued taking the pills. Last week I took two more test but they were positive but instead of calling the doctor I continued taking my pills now today my period is on could the test have been wrong

I went to the emergency room and they did a urine test and told me it was negative because I may have had a miscarriage but that I need to make a follow up appointment with my OB/GYN for them to do a blood test because their urine test barely detects an HCG level in pregnant women

Pregnancy tests are very rarely falsely positive.  So, in other words, the tests were probably NOT wrong.  You may be having a miscarriage.  If you were my patient, I would want you to come in right away for a blood pregnancy test and possibly an ultrasound.
