Any personal experience knowledge would help

I got an infection from a DNC i had years ago.
As a result, I know have endometreosis and cysts, my fallopian tubes were blocked and my cilia aren't working properly (I was a smoker up until hearing this). My gp says he will help me release an egg in 70 days.
Just wondering, if anyone has been through this and fallen pregnant in a situation like mine?
Were you able to fall pregnant on your own? Or did you go with the gynae option and conceive that way?

Hi!
IF you were my patient, I would advise you that if your fallopian tubes are truly blocked, the chances of a natural pregnancy are quite low.  If you do become pregnant, you are at high risk for a tubal pregnancy.  I would suggest one of two options: IVF OR a laparoscopy/tuboplasty with laser ablation (clean up) of endometriosis and removal of any cysts that are abnormal.  Whichever way you choose, in my (admittedly biased) opinion, you are better with a gynecologist or infertility specialist.
Good luck!

Hi Angela in April if this year u was told my tubes were blocked from womb to ovary end and my gyno told me my chances if conceiving we're less than 1% I was sheduled to start ivf treatment in the 8th October this year and to my surprise I miss my period this month. I took 4 pregnancy tests and they were all positive. I was rushed for emergency scan and blood tests and they all confirmed pregnancy I am now 6 week pregnant and previous to ivf treatment I was undergoing treatment with Chinese herbs and doc think this could of played a part in unblocking my tube. If you want details if herbs takin plz let me know never give up hope xx
