I have the same pain.  It hurts in the when you are turning over in bed too.  My dc said that it was your pubic area starting to spread and prepare for labor.  I am 30 weeks preggo, so abou the same. The dc said to take tynelol if needed.  Not to be concerned though!!

When I was pregnant mine always hurt.  I think it could be that your pelvis is opening up to allow room for the baby, where the piece of cartliage is.  Some women dont feel a thing, but the front of my pelvis and abdomin always hurt...and hurt way more in the morning  Didnt stop until 5 weeks after the baby was born.

I have that pain really bad and have now for a week or so (I am now 37 weeks).  The doctor did an internal last Thursday and I am not dialated and the baby is still sitting high.  We ended up talking about all this other important information that I forgot to ask him why I am feeling this soreness then if I am not progessing.  I know the exact pain you are feeling though, I have it allllll day long.  I go back next Thursday so I will try and remember to ask him then, there's a chance I may be induced by then so it may not matter to me anymore, LOL!
