Anyone else take a zpak while pregnant?

I'm just curious to know if anyone has taken this antibiotic and what side effects you may or may not of had. I've been taking it for two days and the only thing I have so far is it feels like I have the flu. It makes my stomach cramp and I have nausea. But, no throwing up, no diarrhea (thank goodness)... none of the other stuff... Since it's only my second day of taking it, I'm not gonna count my chickens TOO early. It could still kick in. Lol... But, I hope not cause I really don't want to deal with that... Also, did it make you feel better after you finished the pack? Or did you need something else to finish off getting you well? I'm taking it because strep is going around this family like wildfire. My son has hands-foot-and mouth disease... my nieces and nephew have strep and one of my nieces has some sort of virus that mainly adults get. I don't know what it was called. I woke up one morning with my throat a little sore. Later on it became red, I had extremely swollen tonsils with big pus bumps on them. And red spots all inside my mouth. The left side of my neck hurt all the way down. It was miserable. My neck is starting to feel better although I'm coughing a lot still. I called the doctor and they called me in a zpak. First time ever having to take one.

I did. No side effects. I had as throat and ear infection.

Thank y'all. I was worried SO bad that I would have diarrhea with this antibiotic. Mainly because I will still be on it when DH and I go get our new furniture we bought in February that JUST came in. It was on back order FOREVER. Got 14 pc set so I'm excited for them! We just have to go like an hour to get it from the warehouse. Fx I don't get the runs! LOL

I took one at around 13 weeks for a severe upper respiratory infection that was borderline pneumonia. I didn't have any side effects, and I did feel better afterwards.

Just had one a couple weeks ago at like 35 weeks pneumonia lol I didn't have any side effects though. I'm sorry you're not feeling well, good luck

I took a z pac at 31 weeks I got bronchitis at my baby shower. It ***** so much more getting sick while you are pregnant. I am still sick at 33 weeks. I went to doctor tuesday and have a slight yeast infection. I have never had one before in my life. ***** she said it's normal being pregnant and taking antibiotics
