But why would they set up a tape now two years later? And if the kid knew about it, why would he lie and make himself look guilty? And if he didn't know about the tape than he was confessing to whom? If someone was guilty you think he would never speak of the crime he committed.
And...what was she seizuring from? Alcohol alone wouldn't cause that to happen...she could have possibly been given a pill of some sort. But you think if someone started doing that, and you dont know them you would call for help. To panic and dump someone in the ocean as opposed to panicing and screaming for someone to call 911..that just makes you wonder how sane this kid really is, ya know? And to call a friend to dump her...hmm suspicious much. The poor girl and her poor family, my heart goes out to them all.
My little sister went to Aruba 3 months after this happened, my mom was freaking out.
i only caught a few minutes of it. Lying or not...it gave her mother some peace.
oops i just saw this was posted last night...I wasn't working I was desperately trying to sleep :)
Another OJ Simpson...so sad.
Unfortunately I have to work so I can't watch it ....I feel so bad for that family. I wish they would hurry up and find solid evidence one way or the other so her family can get some closure.
A reporter set up a secret video camera and caught Joran in a confession, explaining everything. Of course, now Joran is saying that he was lieing on the tape, but everyone knows that's not true. Basically, he said they were on the beach, fooling around, and she started shaking (like a seizure, I guess)...he freaked out, called a guy he knew, and the guy came and took her body out to the ocean and dumped her. He said that she looked dead, but of course he didn't for sure.
I haven't stayed caught up on it either... I used to read everything but not that I don't work in a grocery store anymore I don't read all the news. What is happening?
I didn't watch it but I know of the case. What ended up happening? Did they ever find her? Sorry I don't watch or read the news...
Yes, we watched it. We live in the same town as Natalee's family in Alabama, so it seems to hit close to our hearts. At this point, I think Joran's credibility and reputation is ruined...regardless if he is convicted by the law. I'm so grateful that Beth (Natalee's mom), so some closure now.
