Anyone have Polyhydramnios?

I was diagnosed with this at 32 weeks and at the time was measuring 37 weeks, anyone any experience with this? I'm now 34 weeks and have a scan next week to check fluid levels again.

Actually, the range is 5cm to 25cm. 24cm would be considered "high normal". It is variable though. Meaning one moment it could be 24cm, measure again minutes later get 26cm, and measure again minutes later and get 23cm. It's a semi quantitative assessment of fluid volume. At least your not over 30cm.

Thank for your reply,  no I was checked for gestational diabetes but I don't have it, my level was 24 cm but I was told that the normal range is between 5 and 22 cm. I'm now 34 weeks but at 32 weeks baby was measuring 5.5lbs and my uterus was measuring 37 weeks. I'm really worried I'm going to have a huge baby as my first was 8 lb 5 oz and I'm only a small person, I'm really struggling with the pregnancy as I'm sooo big x

The extra fluid caused intrauterine pressure making your uterus measure larger than expected. Find out your AFI, amniotic fluid index.

Do you have gestational diabetes?  Common finding with diabetes. Do you know the numerical level of your poly?  25cn is the cutoff between normal and poly, which is higher than 25cm. Often no explanation for poly. Low fluid (called oligohydranniios) is more worrisome.  You will probably get weekly BPP to monitor fluid level and baby's activity. How is the baby measuring?
