So here is my birth story: It all started May 19th i went to my Dr and had my membranes stripped for the second time shortly after i started to have mild contractions as the day passed they got stronger. I did every comfort measure i could but none worked. I went to triage and my contractions were irregular and only dilated 1 1/2cm so they sent me home. Tuesday i toughed it out all day and night. Wednesday my due date May 21st woke up in tears headed to triage only 2cm dilated they gave me an option to walk for an hour or go home. So i walked no change. Went home took a bath (usually worked but didn't) walked around, squated through all my contractions that were literally what felt like 2 mins apart took another bath, got out said time to go. Back to triage they put me in a room i had a bad contraction  about 5 people rushed in checked me i was 3/4 cm they admitted me. Got a pain med that took the ease off then 5 mins later i had the epidural. I was dilating on my own at 6cm they broke my water, my contractions were still irregular so they did a low dose of pitocin his heart rate started to decend so they got me in a position that stabilized it. Couple hours later it was time to push 1am i pushed and pushed i gave all i could. They turned my epi off so i felt all my contractions that were a 1 1/2 min long. The baby wouldn't move past my pelvic bone. I ended up getting sick and throwing up that got him past the bone. Five mins later i had my beautiful lil boy in in my arms i cried so hard. He was born at 3:05am 9lbs 1oz (doesn't look 9lbs) 21 1/2 inches Austin James. He's just perfect. Sorry so long.
