BH and Preterm labor

Do you think a woman who has frequent braxton hicks throughout her pregnancy (more than 4 per hour sometimes) is more at risk for preterm labor?
I know it matters whether they are changing cervix or not..but what do you think?

I agree , you are probably dehydrated and that's why it could be happening so often

I'd say no. I've had them from week 5 till 35 week's, even more so now & a lot as I sleep. Nothing's changed. Scheduled for csection at 39 week's bt hoping to go in labor by 38 lol

With my last pregnancy, I had braxton hicks from about 15 weeks right up until labour, which was at 39 weeks. So I would have to say no. If you find you're having frequent bh, you might just need to drink more water.

from experience I would say no. my last son I had Braxton hicks daily for the last two months and he was born the day of his due date. and so for with this pregnancy I have had them many times daily this whole last trimester and am now only 3 days away from my due date and still no baby.
