Baby help

I am 19 weeks and have alredy gotten leg cramps at night what can i do to prevent them..i dont like bananas!! Can tight socks or wrapping my legs at night help?

My doctor recommended me milk it has lots of calcium

being anemic can cause them, have your doctor check your iron level. taking OTC magnesium supplements helps, stretching, walking, warm baths. its not necessarily potassium.

I hate bananas too! I'm not exactly sure how to prevent them but when you feel one about to come flex your foot so that your calf muscle stretches. It makes such a difference. I do it every morning when I do a big stretch when I wake up.

Try drinking coconut water or eat/drink food with potassium, that will help you
