Baby shower in UK

Hey, i know its normal in the USA and places but ice never known any one in the UK to have a baby shower. Now i would really like one with both our familes.

Soo has anyone on here from the uk and had a babu shower or plan to have one? If so how many weeks are you doing it at?

Aw sounds fun! I think ill ask my family and see if they wanna do it. I dont know anyone whos had one so its nice to hear that people do have them x

Its alot more popular over here now , most of my friends have had one and i plan to have obe but iam not sure when to do it,iam 25wks so il prob aim for about 32wks :-)

Maybe have a wee look online, I think they're getting more popular over here, they might not really be the same as the US ones, but you might get some ideas?

I saw a sign up in either Mamas and Papas or Mothercare advertising that the do the registry for gifts. I thought about it, but I'm a little too British when it comes to these things...I didnt even make a wedding list when I got married as I didnt want folk to feel that they had to buy a present! Its a good idea for family though as they will want to spend money on and spoil the baby and they know this way what you need or would like :)
