Baby shower or...?

My fiancée and I have to get some basic need stuff I'm only 10 weeks but we're afraid of not having enough money saved up for our Lil Bit (our nickname him/her) should we have a baby shower for clothes and stuff?

If cost is a problem for a baby shower you could always have a small one with close friends and family at your house. It's nice to celebrate your baby with the people your closest too. And after wards you can buy anything you didn't get

I have found that throwing a baby shower is much more costly and tiresome. You will get everything that you need.

I had a surprise baby shower on Friday and even though only a handful of people were their I got loads of essentials for my little one clothes, bathing stuff, changing bag, I'm a single mum and a full time college student so I don't have a lot of money coming in but I got so much stuff from the baby shower and now feel ready for when my little lady makes an appearance! I think baby showers are a great idea and are really fun!

You should at least register at lots of places. That way people will know what you want and need. I know Target gives you stuff when you register and then you get coupons and a discount on anything in your registry after the due date. I think some other places do that too. And for online to sign up for huggies, Pampers, Luvs, Enfamil, and Similac coupons and samples. As far as a baby shower it's up to you. It costs money if you do it yourself, but you could always just have a simple get together or pot luck or something. You will probably get lots of things either way.  It's nice to have a celebration though.
