Two weeks ago at my ultrasound appt. The lady told me my babygirl was 5lbs&&8ozs. That's when I was 35weeks!! I'll be 37 Tuesday!!!:)
I was told my baby was approximately 7.6 lbs. Sure enough he came out weighing 7.6 I was pretty surprised at the accuracy but it is normally just an estimate.
im 38weeks now and last week at 37weeks they said she was 7lb, so im expecting a big baby, just wanted to see if they may be wrong as ive been told they are alot of the time, i just dont know what clothes to take to the hospital for her as shes having an opperation and will be in for a while
Wow...my story is totally different. ..they told me he weighed 8 pounds 11 ounces...but they said take a pound off bc your baby wont be that big!!! He wore 8'10..they was just one ounce off...they measure your babies head and body for weiw
The first pregnancy, a week before my daughter was born they told me she was 6 lbs 11 oz and was born 7 lbs 3 oz. With my son they were waaaaayyy off. They told me 3 days before he was born that I wouldn't be able to take him home because he was underweight and I left crying. They said he wasn't even 5 pounds yet. He was 8 lbs 3 oz . Smh
They guess based on the size of the baby on the ultrasound and the weight you've gained. They're almost never right about the weight because just about nobody has the perfect pregnancy and weight gain all their charts tell them it should be like.
They are usually wrong it's only really an estimate they told my brothers ex that my nephew would weigh nearly.9 pounds when he was born he was only 6lbs2oz
My baby weighed almost 2 pounds less than what they told me there is no accurate way to get the babies weight till they are born
