Back pain

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and occasionally will get a mid-low back ache if I sit for too long etc (which I assume is normal) but last night started to feel random shooting pains in my lower back. It still hurts a little this morning but not as intense. (I googled it and apparently can be a sign of preterm labour but have no other signs & have had a healthy low risk pregnancy). Any cause for concern or normal?

Yes, figured I would, have my next appointment in only 5 days so was unsure if I should just wait or if it's urgent

If you're unsure, the best thing you can do is just ask your doctor!
