The baby will be fine believe me I had my first pregnancy no morning sickness at all and I was shocked when I got pregnant again and stayed sick but it helped me to get up and eat first thing in the morning. Believe it or not but when I keep food on my stomach ( eat several small meals) I don't get sick at all. Maybe u can try that and see if it helps u. My doctor also told me the sicker u are the healthier the baby will be(hard for me to believe).
I suffered with hyperemesis, or severe morning sickness, with my first son. I could not even walk or look across the room without vomiting. I was vomiting up to 10 times a day, and ended up getting admitted to the hospital when I was 9 Weeks due to dehydration. I even lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks. Eating and drinking anything was impossible since the sight of it caused vomiting. After a week of fluids, I did feel a little better, but not good enough to eat a full course meal. At 15 Weeks, I was diagnosed with a case if gestational diabetes. At 39 weeks 1 day, I delivered a 7lb, extremely healthy little boy. During the first trimester, our bodies somehow know how to manage pregnancy while sick. My doctor told me the best way to explain it is the baby takes all of your nutrients, and leaves you with nothing. The baby is going to "steal" what they need from you to grow. Eating healthy is ideal in pregnancy, but the first trimester is rough. If you are dehydrated in the slightest bit, it makes you feel even worse. I promised myself I would never have another child after all my issues with my firstborn, and here I am again, expecting baby boy #2 in November. Also, you need a good support team during this difficult phase of pregnancy. Stress will also trigger sickness!
Hun if yr sick, yr baby is very healthy. Its taking everything you need to feel great. My first I was crook as a dog 24/7 he came out perfect. Perfect placenta, no jaudice. This pregnancy im worried because im not sick. Relax, youl get yr appetite back.
My first pregnancy i was really sick and threw up the entire time. I ended up having a very healthy baby girl. Don't listen to what they are saying just make sure you are doing your best to eat healthy. The baby takes what they need and you get the leftovers, which can leave you sick.
I had hyperemesis all through my first trimester. I was on and out of the hospital. I lost a total of 20 lbs and had to have a picc line put in. My baby is healthy and takes what it needs from me. If your dr is not worried about it don't get worried. You will be a amazing mom. Look what you have gone through so far. A bad mom would have given up and you have not. Good luck.
