Ok no, just no. Beer does not help with your supply. Dark beer allows for a faster let down but it has nothing to do with your supply. And the only reason this is, is because it relaxes you more. If you Choose to drink and then breast feed it's completely up to you. But alcohol will go to your newborn. And like I said, it helps to relax you so waiting the supposed hour for it to leave your system, which is wrong baby will still get the alcohol, you won't be feeling the effects anymore and you drank a beer and gave it to your baby for nothing.

I've heard it not good cus the milk will have the beer but I've also heard it helps with producing more milk so im not sure ... but I will definitely have a cold beer asap. I will just not breastfeed my baby that day.

You shouldn't bf for atleast an hour after drinking one unit of alcohol. A pint of beer has about 1 1/2 units so that would be atleast 1 1/2 hours. I personally won't be drinking while I bf

If you're super worried they also sell test strips to test your milk to make sure there's no alcohol in it. :)

I've never heard that about bf and everyone I know would express beforehand so that they didn't need to bf for like a good 6hrs after drinking 1 glass of wine. Maybe you could google the guidelines for bf and alcohol then try expressing?
