Before you got your BFP

I was just wondering, for those who are preggo and who are not preggo.

Did you still take your prenatal pills while ttc, even if it took you more than 5 months to conceive.  Also was any of you taking baby asprin or extra folic acid while ttc?

I started taking prenatal vitamins when I got off of birth control this past December to get my body ready. Then I got pregnant, but m/c, but I continued to take my prenatals everyday and still continue now with this pregnancy.

I took Prenatal Vitamins, Metformin (for my PCOS), Clomid, and Omega 3's. I just got my BFP today after a year of TTC.

I always take prenatal vitamins before I got my BFP and Omega 3.
This time around O I took a baby aspirin for a few days instead of the Omega 3 since Omega 3 is also an anti-inflamatory.  Then after a few days after O, I started taking Omega 3 again with my pre-natal vitamins.  I still do.

I've been taking prenatals since August of last year because that is when we started ttc...I had a mc in december but since we wanted to continue ttc, I kept taking my vitamins...We took 7 months after my mc to conceive again.  I didn't take any extra supplements and I talked to a genetic counselor the other day because dh was born with a cleft lip and they said that a good prenatal has all the folic acid you need to prevent neural tube defects, clefts, etc.  My doctor's didn't seem to think extra was necessary even in our situation where we were at a presumably higher risk for a defect.
By the way our ultrasound showed no cleft =)  And a healthy, ACTIVE, boy!

I take prenatals every day and have for over a year. Of course there's many days in there that I've forgotten but for the most part I take them every day.

I may take folic acid and baby aspirin when we decide to try again. I haven't really decided on all of that yet.

I didn't take anything before, but I did start taking prenatals as soon as I got a positive test!  I still had them left over from while breastfeeding.    But I do know some doctor would recomment taking your prenatals, folic acide and any other vitamin you can to make sure your good and healthy!
