12 days late and cramping.

Hello, I'm 12 days late, and I have taken 2 home pregnancy test and it seems like both are positive. I've also been having sharp pains like cramps that feel like I'm going to start my period but nothing. How high are my chances of being pregnant?

Thanks for the comments. According to when I last had my period I am 7 weeks. I have not yet went to see a doctor to confirm. Is there anything a doctor does at week 7 to see If the baby is okay?

I cramped for a month when I got pregnant. But that was due to my uterus stretching and growing in order to prepare for the baby. Even though it is only about the size of a pea, your uterus starts early and tries to get a step ahead. Im 19 w 2 days now and im starting to cramp again very lightly. Also due to the uterus stretching again. It happens multiple times throughout pregnancy and is completely normal. The only thing you should have to worry about is if you are cramping severely and are bleeding. A bit of blood at this point for you would be normal, it could be implantation bleeding. Typically, your body will tell you when something is wrong and you'll know without a doubt that you need to see a doctor. Which you need to do right away anyhow since you are indeed pregnant. :)

If you've had two positive test you are pregnant. Cramping in the beginning of pregnancy is very common. Just take it easy and get an appointment to see your Dr. If you aren't already taking prenatal vitamins, start them.

If two tests show positive, congratulations, you are pregnant! Get yourself to a doctor for a blood test to confirm and take care of yourself!
