Birth Announcements

Has anyone thought about what they are gonna do for birth announcements?  Last time I was pregnant I bought the Wilton stationary and printed my own.  I've had a hard time finding anything similiar that I like this time so I went a different route.  I bought blank note cards and am making my own.  I posted pictures under my profile.  Take a peek and let me know what you think.  Let me know what ya'll are doing if you've decided on anything yet.

I'm due in October and this will be our last addition to our family.  I was going to have my sister in law take a family picture after the baby's born, then include them in Christmas Cards that i'll mail out in November before I go back to work.

When we had our first we just created a website and emailed family and friends the link.

LOL!  See I'm too cheap to pay someone else.  Besides I figure it's something *I* can be proud of and when my kids get older it will be something they can be proud of Mom taking the time to do .  

I see what you mean about the advertising, I have several birth announcement links on the left as well LOL

medhelp is pretty clever with their advertising (birth announcement website on my left). i actually just started to think about it a few days ago and coincidentally was looking at the site tiny prints. Theyre like a $1-2 each depending on which ones you order and there are some pretty cute ones on there.  Yours is adorable but Id rather pay someone else to do the work :)
