Birth Story
My little girl decided to make a rather dramatic arrival. I went to the hospital around 8pm having horrible contractions. They monitored me for a couple of hours to watch for any change. At 10 they gave me a shot of pain medication to try to stop the contractions. It had the opposite effect. I started dilating and the amniotic sac started to bulge. Since I was only 37+5weeks they couldn't break my water or give me pitocin. At about 6am my water finally broke on its own (sounded like the world's biggest water balloon exploding). The doctor got to the hospital at 6:20 and she was born at 6:24. The doctor delivered her with only one glove on because she wasn't waiting a second longer. She was 6lbs 11oz and 19 inches long. She is my third child and the first that I delivered without an epidural. It was also by far the easiest labor and delivery process.
My 1st she weighed 6lbs & 12oz. 21 1/2 inches long. Labor was 4hrs was born @40 wks . & my 2nd he was born @37wks+1day , weighing @5lbs w.14oz 19inches long labor was an hr & 40mins extremely easy. Ive got the edpurial w.both of em . Now im excepting baby #3 29wks (babygrl) . Congratsss on your new bundle of joy ( :
