I went in for a usual prenatal checkup and my dr told me i had a hernia and asked if my bellybutton always looked like an outie i said no with my first it didn't pop out and it had always been an innie she didnt say anything else and at that moment idk what i was thinking i didn't ask her anything about it.. Now im freaking out because my husband told me to stop carrying my toddler which i think would be hard to do since he is so attached to me and were together the whole day and i don't have help from anyone since hubby works alot

My friend has a hernia with her current pregnancy and a rupture in her placenta and bleeding around it as a result. Her pregnancy is now high risk and she has to take it easy. If things get worse she will be on bed rest. Hernias can put you at risk of miscarriage and other complications so please follow your doctor's advice and stop lifting your toddler and other heavy things. I hope things go smoothly the rest of your pregnancy and congrats!

It's normal for your belly button to top out I wouldn't be worried about that. As for carrying your toddler, you should really stop and try to explain to him or her that mommy's pregnant and can't lift you. That can cause so much stress on you and baby.
