OT - Took my kids to their first ever football game today!

My son got out of the hospital last night at midnight!  So we decided, since they would need to sleep and we had these tickets to the Apple Cup, Washington vs Washington STATE!  That we'd leave last night.  Well, I got the car packed comepletely and my daughter and I headed to the hospital to pick up my son and my hubby!  We drove there, which isn't all that bad.  6 hours.  Got a hotel and slept, until 11 am.  Got up got ready and went over there!  HAHA

My husband is a die hard University of Washington Fan, and I'm a die hard Washington State University fan, I actually went there for school!!  =)  So we bought the kids little washington state jerseys, it was so cute!  Had them yelling and screaming GOAL!!!  LOL

It was an intense game.  I know it wasn't top teams for the year, but nothing beats a school rivalry game!  Hehe

My son was full of energy, and so was my daughter!  Afterwards we left quick, to get out of town, because thousands of college kids = ton's of drinking on a winning game day!!!  LOL...So we're in Moses Lake at my friends house for the night!  

Anyways, we had a great day, and enjoyed some good consession stand food!  Oh I love the nachos!  Ahaha...Anywho, wanted to update everyone, I had like 8 messages asking where i was today!  hehehe

My son is home!  YAY!!!

Sweetangel7 ~  LOL!  Yes, tempting everyone for a craving of consession stand food yum yum!  LOL...  =)  Oh now I think I need to make fudge...ahaha



Brittny27~  Yeah, my dad watched it on t.v and he said he wished he went with us!  It was freaking awesome!!!!!  LOL  My son is doing great!  They had to put this kind of a big sticker type thing over his incisions, to make sure he doesn't split it open!  He has stitches on the inside of his skin and not the outside.  If that makes sense lol...   But he's extremely happy and over goobery!  AHA

Sounds like a blast!  Glad to hear your son is doing soo well!  Concession stand food is always soo good...yet so bad!  I haven't had any in years!  Now you are spurring cravings!  lol  Today I am going to a craft fair and they'll have homemade fudge...I have been looking forward to a piece of homemade fudge for weeks lol  And I love to shop too so it should be a nice day.

I didn't realize that you also lived in WA.

I watched the game while serving alcohol to all the local fans that couldn't make it to the game.  The games are always much funner to go to then watch on tv!  I'm glad that you enjoyed your day with the family.  How's your son doing?
