I'm A negative and I just had to get the rhogam shot during my 28th week. It's common to have a negative blood type and there can be some complications if the blood type isn't compatible with baby. Just have to get the rhogam shot:) I haven't had any side effects and it's been smooth sailing
Thank u for reply , m glad i hav such lovely ppl to help.. i m a bit relived after your replies.
Yes you are more likely to miscarry due to the fact that if your baby has a positive blood type, your body will react to that baby as something foreign and will try to expel it. Usually that is unlikely in the first pregnancy, but more common in following pregnancies. Your doctor will give you a rhogam shot around 28 weeks and after birth to prevent miscarriages in the future. I'm a negative blood type and my husband is positive and we're having our 3rd baby so we never had any complications.
I dont think so ...i probably gonna be concerned if both are negative but u can ask for a genetist and they will give more infornation so u can be relief....sending u my bests wishes
