My doctors office does it. I had it with both of my pregnancies. It's not even really supposed to be to reveal the gender more to see if the baby has a chance of Down syndrome. But yes it tells the gender too. I am not at high risk pregnancy and they asked me both pregnancies if I wanted the test done and I said yes. I didn't have to pay a cent for it either
Yes, pretty accurate but I always waited until my 20 week anatomy scan just in case (:
That's awesome I wish I would've known about this sooner I would've loved to have done it with my first and this one ): lol that's so cool you were able to find out early I'm jealous hahaha so if hes able to see if will be pretty accurate? That's another fear lol being told the wrong gender hahaha
With both of mine I went to a special place that has a ended reveal package at 16 weeks! It's only $99 and not covered by insurance or anything. But if they take a peek when you're 17 weeks they'll probably see! I knew with both of mine at 16 weeks (:
The blood tests are very expensive, most Drs will do them for you but your insurance won't cover it unless you're 35+ or have a high risk pregnancy. So you'll probably be better off just waiting for the free ultrasound scan, because I know personally my Drs would have charged me about $150 for the blood test
