Blood test

So I keep hearing about the early gender scans u can schedule and the blood test to determine gender does ur doctor do the blood test or do you have to go somewhere else like the places that do 3d/4d scans? Lol I'll be 17 weeks and 2 days the 13th and doctor said we would take a peek to see if we can tell yet but with my first I didn't get the gender scan till I was 21 weeks and I don't think I can wait that long lol

My doctors office does it. I had it with both of my pregnancies. It's not even really supposed to be to reveal the gender more to see if the baby has a chance of Down syndrome. But yes it tells the gender too. I am not at high risk pregnancy and they asked me both pregnancies if I wanted the test done and I said yes. I didn't have to pay a cent for it either

With both of mine I went to a special place that has a ended reveal package at 16 weeks! It's only $99 and not covered by insurance or anything. But if they take a peek when you're 17 weeks they'll probably see! I knew with both of mine at 16 weeks (:

The blood tests are very expensive, most Drs will do them for you but your insurance won't cover it unless you're 35+ or have a high risk pregnancy. So you'll probably be better off just waiting for the free ultrasound scan, because I know personally my Drs would have charged me about $150 for the blood test
