Breast Leakage

Hi , I'm 35 Weeks Pregnant . And My Breast Don't Seem To Leak Any More . Is The Baby's Milk Not Producing ? Or Is This Not As Big As A Problem. My Breast Use To Leak When I Was 4 & 5 Months But It All Of A Sudden Just Stopped .

Exactly what specialmom said! My first pregnancy I didn't produce anything until after the baby was born. And milk just wouldn't stop pouring after that! I wouldn't get worried until after you give birth and like 2 weeks later your milk hasn't came in.

Hi.  We sometimes have breast discharge due to hormones which is what you were doing during pregnancy. You weren't really producing milk for your baby at that point.  Most women begin producing colostrum at the birth which is babies first nutrition and then the 'milk comes in' after that.  I'm sure all is fine with your future ability to nurse your baby.  good luck
