Breastfeeding is extremely beneficial for your baby because you provide him with extra anti bodies to fight infections and supply him with more vitamins and proteins that formula doesnt carry. Its beneficial for you in that you have an extremely close bond with your baby...not to mention for every 30 minutes of feeding you burn 500 calories! As for circumcision its up to you but everytime you change a diaper youll have to pull the foreskin down completely to clean his little dinky. I circumcised my son and it was almost totally healed before we left the hospital but like I said its your decision...personally I think its cleaner to circumcise

Breast feeding helps with weight loss, helps your uterus get back to its normal size, develops a bond with your baby, save money, etc. Plus all the benefits for your baby..

And circumcision, I am getting it done for my son because his dad is circumcised. The only reason his dad is circumcised is because he got an infection when he was 1. So basically, I want him to match his daddy and I would like to prevent any infection he might get in the future.

Breastfeeding will burn calories causing you to lose weight. But it's not really about the benefits for you. It's about the benefits to your baby. Google "Benefits of Breastfeeding" and you will get plently of answers there.

As for circumcision, my husband isn't and it doesn't make any difference to me. He just had to be sure to clean extra good. He has to pull back the foreskin while in the shower to wash the head and the wrinkles in the skin. I've asked him and he said that he would rather have his foreskin and spend 2more seconds washing,  than have been put through unneccecary  pain to make it look "prettier".

If I'm having a boy I'm going to circumcise him, but that's all up to you it won't hurt him if you don't and if you do but breast feeding is very good for your baby because it's healthier and he won't get sick as much or easy and it's just a lot better for him than formula but also that's your choice. A benefit for breast feeding for you is they say you lost baby weight faster.

Breastfeeding can help you lose your post pregnancy weight . Circumcision is not medically necessary in fact my OB told me he no longer recommends routine circumcision. Your mom is right :) I'm not circumcising my son
