Breasts are very sore....

Is there any way to relieve the pain? lol I am breastfeeding and pumping, and my boobs feel soo heavy and sore, i know this is normal since its only been 4 days since giving birth. But is there any way to maybe soothe the pain a bit? Thank you

Well since I am also a new mom I find that a hot bath helps and while in the bath express some milk. Do this as long as you can. I try to do this everyday. Someone also told me you can use a fine comb and just comb your breast towards the nibble while expressing milk. If you end up get sick, feverish or dizzy can you doctor right away. Since you in Canada, you are right? I believe there is a teleheath number you can call. You should find out about that they can help you with any questions you may have. Teleheath number is 1-866-797-0000. Well I also got sore breast too and I ended up feeling a little sick and feverish and dizzy. But you got to watch out if your breast or any part of your breast get red. If you breast get red call the doctor asap. But a hot bath, shower or massage should help abit. And as your breastfeeding continues it should get easier. Good luck!!! You have offically engorged lol. It ***** and it's very painful, I can only imagine how bad it is as your breast feeding. The only help I know to do is have a hot shower, or put something warm or hot on your breasts. The pain and discomfort should go away after you get used to breastfeeding and everything. But thats the only help I know to offer.
