That's what it sounds like to me - the farther down the birth canal that the baby drops, the more pressure that they on your pelvic area and hips because it forces them to widen in preparation for delivery. Try taking baths and a birthing ball if you have one. The warm bath is a God send on lower back and pelvic muscles, and the ball helps to redistribute some of the pressure. :)
Sounds like pressure. Try sitting on those big excessive balls for some reliefe!!! That helped me with my first baby
That can happen if baby is low and putting a lot a pressure on, that's what it sounds like to me.
My hips have been very sore lately also! I think its just our body getting ready for labor.
