To the Drs. I'am 7weeks pregnant and I off & on have pains in my legs & shoulders. My question is can I take vicodin for my pain while I am pregnant now or should I wait?

Hi!
Congratulations!
Yes, it is safe to take Vicodin while pregnant.  As with anything else during pregnancy however, the less the better.  Take only the minimum dosage that alleviates the pain, and take it only when plain Tylenol and other methods haven't worked.

One other thing about the combination of Vicodin and pregnancy is that it is a real set up for constipation!  So watch out for that!

Good luck!

What do you need done? My husband is a denitst, however, he's still in residency.  How far along are you?  Generally, a lot of dentists will not work on pregnant women unless absolutely necessary. (Depending on what work you need done)
