Can a UTI cause a false negative pregnancy test?

I am wondering if a Urinary tract infection can cause a pregnancy test to be negative.

It has the potential to throw off a pregnancy test, yes.  Blood or protein in the urine can change the result!  https://www.healthline.com/health/pregnancy/false-positive-pregnancy-test#medical-conditions  Urinary tract infections are on the list of things that can give you a wrong pregnancy result.
