Can a positive pregnancy test be false?

It took me and my bf 1 year in a half to get pregnant.  I took one hcg home pregnancy test and was positive than a store test and it was positive.  I couldn't believe how positive it was. It wasn't no positive fainted line . it was dark and both same color. I did the hcg 6 times in 2 days and was positive and 2 from outside and was positive. I already did a blood pregnancy test today. Have to wait till friday for results.  But is there any way the test can be wrong?  Please share your opinion? Am just so excited and would be so down if I wasn't.  Thank you

Unlikely for it to be wrong. False positives are rare.

doctor told me there is never a false positive but can be a false negative pretty sure your pregnant congratulations

I'd say so too :) I was in denial when I first saw the positive test and told my husband to put it back in the window it might change its mind lol congratulations both!

Lmao is just hard to believe lol am still in denial till my blood work comes back
