Can anyone tell me if this is normal? My CBC 25wk preg
So i haven't heard from the doc yet but got my lab results via a voicemail from the clinic.. i've been feeling totally crappy lately and my doc did a CBC my red blood cell count was 3.9 my white blood cell count was 11.2 my hemoglobin was 11.8 i can't seem to find much on normal labs for pregnant women. thanks in advance for any answers.:)
If you google normal CBC values for pregnant women you will get a lot of hits. Quest diagnostics has a good site that has values for each trimester. Did your dr give you any units for the values? Without units it is impossible to tell if your values are within standard range or not because labs can use several different units to quote the values with.
Did the dr say to call back at all? Seems odd he would call and only provide you with lab results that don't mean much to someone without a medical degree! Not sure why he didn't just tell you whether they were within normal range or not.
