Can you ask your doctor to perform a C section a specific way

I am 30 years old and have had 2 c sections by 2 different doctors.  The fist c section left barely a scar and I had 0 bleeding afterward just a hay colored discharge for about two weeks and I had no reactions to the anesthesia, However my second c section resulted in a bumpy scar because the anesthesia caused me to have an asthma attack and my lungs were fighting for air so even though I couldn't feel my body nor did i have control over it all of my muscles were tensing up and the doctor had a difficult time sewing me up they had to give me a muscle relaxer to get the job done. I also had post reaction when coming down off the anesthesia I wanted to scratch out my eyeballs and the rest of my entire body and had large clots and bleeding afterwards for 8 weeks. I am pregnant again and because of previous c sections have no choice but to have another one this time I again have a different doctor and dont want the doctor to feel like I am being judgemental without even knowing how she intends to perform the operation but would like her to follow the same procedure as my doctor from c section number 1.  How can I ask this question without making the doctor resent me for thinking that she would do any less than her best job. ??????? It would be so much easier if I could just go back to doctor number 1 because I know he would do a good job but he is 1000 miles away literally.

Hi!
If you were my patient, I would ask you to tell me your concerns.  I would look at your incision, and listen to the story about the asthma attack.  I would ask the anesthesiologist to consult ahead of time and review records and develop a game plan.  I would then reassure you that I would do my best and would discuss my surgical techniques with you.  I think you have a valid concern and should express it.
Your doctor shouldn't be defensive or take offense if non is intended.
Good luck!

I would just tell her what you just wrote ... I don't think she will take it wrong . Good luck :)

I think the way you explained it was prefect. I think you should tell the doctor exactly what you said
