I didn't produce much with my daughter and I would like to last longer with this pregnancy.
I'm only 12weeks and I'm not trying to start pumping right now and producing but I would like to try the cookies and the tea....
And later on when I'm almost due I would probably try pumping just to start contractions..
I don't see the harm in eating lactation cookies and drinking mothers milk tea- but I wouldn't start with pumping. Nipple stimulation can cause contractions, it's often something they do to try to induce labor- you don't want to do that before baby is ready. Also, colostrum is a substance that is your 'milk' (it's not really milk) for the first few days- it contains many important nutrients for your baby- anti-bodies and other things that you want your baby to have. Your milk comes in, usually, several days after delivery. In general, it's not a good idea to worry about storing milk up before your baby arrives.
I dont think its a good idea Ive come accross alot of post saying its bad bcus taking out milk when pregnant means you gotta stimulate the nipple which can cause contractions...
I don't see why not. I drank loads of that tea when my milk went low. It's very good for you
