My sister in law and her husband are extremely overweight and they conceived their first child, so don't give up. I would recommend buying some OPK's (Ovulation Predictor Kit) so you can trach the exact time of ovulation, also at babyhopes.com there's a product called Pre-Seed that helps the sperm get to the right place I myself used it after trying for 6 months with no luck and when I used this product on my 7th month I got my BFP. If all else fails remember that it can take up to a year for couples to conceive some couples can take even lounger, hope this helps!

I've heard that being overweight does lower your chances of pregnancy. You're probably trying to lose weight anyway, and I would encourage you to continue to do so. Being in the normal weight range will probably make it easier during the pregnancy as well. And of course, losing weight should make you healthier, as long as you're not doing some of those crazy diets.

Being overweight can lower your chances of getting pregnant but there can be many other factors. Alot of people who are overweight have no problem getting pregnant. If you try every month for a full year and it doesn't happen I would schedule an appointment with an OB so they can run some tests to make aure everything is functioning properly. Good luck to you =)
