So glad you and the baby are ok! Keep Safe!
oh wow that is super crazy i would have wanted to throw up as well!! So glad you and the baby are ok!!
Glad everyone is alright!
Yeah really.
I hate this time of year.
I remember making the mistake of leaving my house on black friday- OH- MY GOD.
**NEVER AGAIN.**
lolol
we're all okay and yikes your story sounded scary too! sometimes you forget that we also have to watch out for other drivers who arent paying attention and not just worry about our driving! it can be really scary...especially during the holiday season!
I knew the story had an happy ending but my heart was beating so fast reading it. I'm happy everything was okay with you and the lil man.
Omg I hope you're alright!
When I was I think 5 months pregnant with my son hubby n I were on our way to his brothers house, and we were fixin to take a right onto the interstate and this guy iin a big white SUV started to pull outta the gas station.
There was 2 lanes, I was in the far one, he pulled into the left one right next to me.
We were the only 2 people on the road, no one infront no one behind me.
And the buttmunch just swerved into my lane and ran me off the road into a ditch!
I had hubby in the passanger seat and Ivy in the back.
It scared the CR@P outta me all I could think of was my son okay cuz the seatbelt locked up on my stomach and was really tight and uncomfortable.
LUCKILY we were alright and our car was fine too.
Thanks again ladies you are all too sweet!
I'm SO thankful that everything is ok with you and your little man! DH was rear-ended 3-4 weeks ago, but I wasn't in the car, thankfully.
Anyway, I'm just so glad that everything is alright :-)
Oh, hun, I am sooo glad everyone is okay! I can only imagine the fear you went through. Stay rested and give you stomach a big hug for me. :)
Omg I'm crying! I'm so glad you all are ok. Stay rested! ((hugs))
lol yeah i really wanted to ring that nurses neck but i was silenced with trying to listen for the heartbeat ....im sure she really didnt want to be the bearer of bad news. since she was an e.r. nurse and not an OB nurse she just probably didnt have the experience with this sort of thing...that coulda been why it took her so long to find the heart beat as well. i know it wasnt really her fault that those dopplers can be pretty tricky but at the time i wanted to shake her and to tell her to just find my baby! it was especially scary being 21 weeks because being that far along i always thought it should be easy to find his heartbeat!
im soo glad everything is ok!! PPL need to slow the he** down! Like really talk abbout road rage....they tend not to think about who could be in the car in front of them or on the side of them! Traffic really gets to me! Im glad you were able to stay strong i would have freaked at that nurse for saying NOTHING! lol...SOOO happy things are ok!! Take it easy and lets hope everyone stays safe over the holidays and after!! :) Merry Christmas everyone! :):)
Thanks everybody, i really appreciate all the kind words...it means a lot
I'm glad you and the baby are ok that is very scary!!! I know what you mean about the few minutes seeming to take forever, my best friend was watch my kid's for our anniversary and then we got a call saying that the kid's and my best friend had been hit by another car ata stoplight, we rushed over there and one of my kid's was'nt waking up the paramedics had him in the ambulance and were doing all kind of things to try and wake him up (he was barely 2 at the time and my other child was 4 months) it took them a little over 10 minutes after i got there to wake him up and then he was groggy, but ok and those 10 minutes seemed to take forever it felt like hours freaking out!!! I am so glad you are ok it can be absolutly terrifying!!
wow!! what a fright.....thank god the baby is absolutely fine. I had a very similar experience with my son too....I was probably 13 weeks then and our car was hit from the back and had a huge jolt...I was terrified to death but my baby wasn't harmed...I can totally understand how you must be feeling....relax now since all is ok and let us thank God for taking care of our little ones in such scary incidents
AHHHH!!!!! I think I read through that faster than anything I've ever read! So very glad that all turned out ok..
I'm such a nervous passenger since I walk 99% of the time, everywhere that I have to go... and am even worse now that I'm carrying around such precious cargo!.. so scary to think about all those people in vehicles that just aren't 100% on their game...
Glad that you got in right away and got taken care of so well at the hospital.. I can't imagine what that 15 min. must have felt like for both of you! Glad that you could have a chance to cry together and be there for each other through it all though!
Oh boy, my heart is still pumping so hard for you!!
*hugs*
thanks Ashelen, it was terrifying i thought i was gonna throw up again just recapping what happened...my stomach turns just thinking about it! ugggh such a huge relief knowing he's okay!
Thank God you're alright!!! How absolutely terrifying...I was reading through the middle of your post so fast trying to get to the part where you said how the baby was and my stomach was doing huge flip-flops!!! Soooo glad to know you're alright take good care of yourself and spoil yourself and that little boy in your belly for a few days!!!!
