My mom is disabled. She has chronic back pain that troubles her 24/7, 365 days every year. But she has 3 cats. One is pregnant and everytime she pees it smells likr amonia. It smells so bad and makes me nauseous. Most the time my husband is working so i cant ask him and my mother isnt able. So is it okay for me to clean the cat box? Im 16 weeks.

You should stay away. We have 2 cats and bought a automatic litter box when we started trying. Husband cleans it twice a week and it's at his convince not because the cats have filled it. Litter Robot is what we got.

Well if you are the absolute only one who can just wear a face mask and gloves. Be sure to wash hands and maybe arms after.

You are supposed to stay away from it but id say if it's an absolute must. Then definitely first talk to your doctor and second, for sure a mask and gloves! And clean yourself after(:

You're supposed to stay away from kitty litter. Maybe wear like one of the mouth/nose masks while doing it. Or consult with your doctor to see if he/she has any ideas on what to do!
