I wouldnt want them to. I have to get mine checked every 2 weeks because im high risk for preterm labor, but getting it checked hurts if done by a doc. They usually give me an ultrasound to check but it is still painful for me.

If I remember correctly with my first I was 34. Because I was 1 cm dilated for a few weeks. Then I was 2cm like 5 days before birth.

That's what I was thinking. My first came at 37 weeks and I have horrible braxton hicks so I figured she may do it earlier but figured 32 or 34 weeks. My husband and son want to comte here the baby's heartbeat and didn't know if I had to worry about that. lol

Not until about 35 weeks unless you start to feel any pain in lower back or cramping just to make sure you're not going into preterm labor
