just so you know child support has nothing to do with the rights of the Father it's too separate things all togetherso even if he's paying you it doesn't mean he has rights if the reason is for reasons that he's doing drugs or what not

Welfare is kind of the broad umbrella that covers WIC,  medicaid,  food stamps,  etc.

If I understand it right,  once your baby is born the father will be automatically put on child support if you want to continue medicaid - but you really need to get real information from your medicaid provider.

Best wishes.

Most thing that the state or federal helps you with financially, usually will make you file it against him if you don't say he helps with the baby or if you say you guys don't live together. It's a new thing I think.

What do you consider "welfare"

My baby is on Medicaid right now, but that's it. I thought about daycare help but I don't have too. I don't want him having rights that's why I'm asking. I don't want child's support from him at all.

No,  you don't.

If you can support yourself,  or your family can support you fully without any welfare,  you aren't obligated to file for child support.

But if you file for various forms of welfare,  they will go after him for child support.
