Clexane (enoxaparin)

I am 27 weeks pregnancy and have  dvt, start to using CLEXANE(ENOXAPARIN) I am really worried  is there any harm to my baby

My baby boy is 11 weeks monday, i had to use clexane from 6 weeks pregnant until 6 weeks after the birth. It has done him no harm, you'll be fine.

No it is ok. Clexane is fine for pregnant women or else they wouldn't be prescribing it to you. I have a Biomedical Science background and worked in conjunction with a clinic which had numerous pregnant women with DVT. Heparin is also fine or even Arixtra.

Hi I am  weeks pregnant and was diagnosed with DVT on my lef t groin down to my left calf. I am injecting Tinzaparin everyday until I give vbirth. Does tinzaparin (Innohep) has a harmful effect on the baby? Which is more advisable for pregnant women, Tinzaparin or Enoxaparin? Thank you very much
