Cold / flu?

I've had my flu jab so think I've came down with an awful cold, my throat is killing and I can't stop coughing.. I'm coughing that bad I can hardly sleep and my ribs are killing me. The chemist said I can't take anything for it just vapour rub and crystals as I'm 33+2 weeks
Any idea what I can do to reduce the coughing? Much appreciated.
I've tried to steam it out by going in the bath, drinking cups of tea ect..

Be sure your prenatal has zinc in it, that's good for colds.

Also in UK.. when I got my jab I got a cold after.m I was told I can have lemsip powder 1 per day and this worked for me.. if I had needed stronger then dr said she could do something else..Robitussin is sold in UK.. I would check with dr first before you do anything though as Im sure it would depend on your specific pregnancy

You can also take regular Robitussin for your cough that's what I had to do (of course I asked my doctor first)  a few weeks ago cause the coughing was unbearable I'm 35 weeks 3days
