Contractions??

Right before I went to go to bed I had some bad cramping in lower abdomen. I went to relieve myself and turns out to be diarea ( sorry about tmi) so after fell asleep for about 45 min then woke up horrible cramping and pain top of belly I though it was because my stomach and BM seem to be off tonight. But now the pain is coming and going and even after a hot shower and cold glass of water it's not stopping. Could this be contractions? I thought you felt contractions lower belly.  Any help would be great.

I had regular contractions for 4nights with my first pregnancy and then they would stop all together during the day. Not to discourage you but that's what happened to me. Eventually they did continue on throughout the day and become much stronger.
I know how you must feel. I really thought I'd be delivering early this time with the heat and given its my 3rd baby but no such luck. I've been 2cm for 3 weeks :(

Thanks! Got about an hr total sleep between contractions they are still about 6 to 8 min apart dr said to call back If my water breaks or contractions are 5 min apart and last for at least a min for over an hr

Could be. Some women have diarrhoea to clear the cost before birth. Good luck.
