Yea cribs do come out to be a lot because you have to buy the mattress and bedding lol I was in Target today and I did not know they sold posturepedic mattresses for cribs lol I was shocked
We have a convertible crib that starts as a crib, then a toddler bed, then a day bed and finally the side piece is used as a headboard for a full size bed. we experimented with it on all stages and it seems very sturdy. we found ours at bavies r us on sale for only $200.
Cribs r good not gonna lie. But after the baby is bigger yes u can use it for a toddler n it does hold up well. But with my first son I had the crib n he would bang his head and body on the bars so I changed him into a toddler bed and he does better in a toddler bed. If I would of known I would of just got a playpen til he was about 15 months then change him into a toddler bed n once he is a bit bigger get him a twin size and all that does add up to a crib itself. That's my plans for my this baby its also too much to get for the crib. Just my opinion as I see it u know I see it easier that way. Good luck ;-)
We do. Our daughter just had a regular crib, but my husband chopped it all up and made a toddler bed out of it. Much cheaper than getting a convertible crib. The only reason we got a convertible crib for our son is because it was on sale. :)
I really dnt know if they last long! But i bough one for my son, since i also had a bassinet and he only fitted for 2mnths ... i hope the crib does bc thats like an awesome saving for a future.
