Could I be pregnant?

My husband and I have been ttc for 7 months. My periods are always at 28-30 days. I am currently 6 days late. I have had light spotting the past two days. Not enough to get on pantyliner most times. Just light Pink and on and off through out the day. I took a preg. test at day 4 late and it was neg. but I took it at night cause I was freaking out about the spotting!  When should I test again? and can spotting count as a period, or should I call my dr. asap.
Anything will help I am hopefull and concerned.

Thank you both, I am still spotting.Took a HPT this morning and it was negative. I will wait a week.  I have a very stressful job, especially lately with all that is going on in this economy. So it could very well be stress...but I am like this all the time! I know this isnt good for concieving. That God my husband is such a great calming influence, he is my voice of reason. I just want AF to come if it is going to, so we can start over this month :)

Spotting is normal during the beginning of pregnancy. If you want to be certain, go to the doctor and have blood tests done.  It's also a possibility that if you're stressing over trying to get pregnant, your hormones are out of wack because of the stress. Try to relax, honey and don't give up hope if you haven't yet conceived. Good luck!

You can retest in 2-3 days. I would assume the spotting is period but I have heard of pregnant women spotting, so don't take my word on it. Good luck and I will keep my fingers crossed!!!
